Rocktown

I have recently updated the Rocktown website. Vince was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful on what he wanted from his website.

Below are some of the comments i got from Vince about the service i provided him.

Have you had any positive feedback from the new design from your staff, family or customers??? If so please elaborate what you have heard.
“Yes the staff think it looks much better, more modern.”

How would you rate my communication and ability to understand your ideas and implement them into the website?
“Yes, good. Everything went as we wanted, your reaction was quick.”

    Some images don’t work. i.e. on page http://www.rocktown.com.au/services.html

    Also formatting looks so early 90s, back when plain html 3.1 was used.

    The header logo doesn’t look sharp / smooth enough.. Perhaps not resized properly.

    The design is good, but contents is a bit messy.

    Thanks for the constructive criticism.

    This was a budget project so not much time could be spared to make a fancy font etc. The logo also upset me i had designed a better one in brown to blend in with the page but i had to do what the customer asked and use their logo.

    As for images not working something must be buggy with his hosting as when i built the site everything was fine, i even have a backup of the site and went over it and can see something with the live version in very wrong.
